It's the last day of our 5x55 manifestations! I'm honestly a little sad to end this portion of the challenge. It's become a super relaxing bedtime habit for me personally. But do not fear, more manifestation methods are coming your way in a couple of days!
As we've discussed, healing the root of our belief or habit is crucial to moving on and replacing it with a healthier habit or belief, however, it wasn't too long ago that it was effecting your life. I mean, it was just five days ago! And while it can be easy to forgive and show compassion to your past self, it's way harder to do that to your current self.
And that brings us to today's challenge: showing love to our current selves. If you've felt disappointed in yourself AT ALL during this challenge, today is gonna be a good day for you. I mean, I was even mad at myself yesterday that I forgot to market day 4 on social media until it was way late into the evening! There was also a day where I almost went to bed without doing my manifestation and I was kicking myself for forgetting. It's easy to be critical of ourselves in the moment, and even easier to feel shame about our habits or beliefs that were so recently controlling our lives.
Today's challenge is very similar to yesterday's, but we're going to be focusing on our recent life. I mean, shit, I'm still getting Amazon packages that I ordered before the challenge started 🤦♀️. Every time I get a notification for a delivered package, it's a reminder that I was being reckless with my money. And it suuuuuuuucks. It makes me doubt what I'm doing right now and reminds me of how bad it was. And if it was that bad, could I really change in just five days?
It's shocking, but the answer is absolutely yes, you can change in five days. But in order to do this, we have to recognize duality.
Duality is the idea that two opposing ideas or beliefs can both be true at the same time. The easiest example of this is looking at your relationship with your parents. It can be true that they love you and would do anything for you and it can ALSO be true that they hurt you a lot and don't always meet your needs. BOTH are true, and neither cancel out the other. Learning how to sit in duality can relieve a lot of tension inside of you because it teaches you that you don't have to pick a side. You can be mindful of both truths and then choose which one to action on and which one to heal.
So for me, it's still a truth that I'm not good with my money. But it's also true that over these past five days, I have been really good with my money, and that's something to celebrate! Of course, that doesn't mean that the fight is over, but I'm going to continue to action on my positive belief while healing the negative.
Since there is a positive and a negative to everything, duality in everything, you will always have some kind of negative belief and some kind of positive belief bouncing around your mind. As you get better at actioning on the positive belief and healing the negative one, new opposing beliefs will pop up, and you'll start the process of actioning and healing the over again. It might sound exhausting, but trust me, having a mindful perspective on this will help a ton. You'll no longer feel at odds with these opposing views. Instead, you'll find ways for them to work together for your benefit.
